Southend Seaside Stitchers

Southend Seaside Stitchers (formerly South & East Essex Embroiderers Guild) meet twice a month in Westcliff-on-Sea with a mixture of mini workshops, speakers and bring your own project sessions. Romford Embroiders

They meet monthly on a Saturday afternoon at the United Reformed Church, Western Road, Romford

Essex Silk Painters

Essex Silk Painters is a vibrant local chapter of the National Guild of Silk Painters. They meet in Toot Hill near Ongar on the first Saturday of every month (except January) for day-long workshops.

Some days have outside tutors, some are taught by members and some are "playdays" for attendees to work on their own projects.

Prices vary depending on the type of workshop, from about £25 to £75

Non-members can find out what's on, exact times. prices locations etc and which workshops might be suited to their skill level.

Basildon Stitching Club

A social group, each helping each other with guidance and reassurance. We hold in-house workshops learning new skills. They meet at the George Hurd Centre in Basildon on the first and third Thursday of each month from 7.30pm to 10pm. Cost £1.50 per meeting.
