Add nordic-inspired charm to your home this festive season with this macramé Christmas tree pattern. Your finished piece will make a unique boho tree decoration or will equally look great displayed as a wall decoration. The pattern uses DMC Eco Vita 4 Metallic yarn, but you can substitute any yarn or macrame cord for this project.

This week's free pattern is an amigurumi parrot design from DMC using Perle 5. Of course, if you want it larger, just use a thicker thread! You could use it as a handbag enhancer, stitch it to a tote bag or cushion, or even crochet in reverse, stitch them together and stuff to make a toy!

We have a Rowan design for you this week - a sweet little top for the summer knitted in Denim Revive. There are short or long versions for you with either V or round necks.

Emily has chosed this bag pattern from DMC for you this week. It uses their Eco Tape yarn, which I don't currently stock (I can get it for you if you wish - just let me know), but I thought you could use recycled fabric strips, sari yarn, or any other thick yarn you may have.

I liked this sentiment from DMC. The pattern suggests stitching the design in French Knots, but as an alternative, you could use satin stitch, or any one of a multitude of stitches - whichever is your favourite! Sew it onto a bag, cushion, or even a babygro.
