Just a quick note to say that I've passed my City & Guilds Diploma in Embroidery!

I know I shouldn't have worried, but as my dearly beloved said, it's what I do.  I feel bereft in a funny sort of way. All those years, all that work, and now it's finished.  We were discussing this over lunch and talking about those people we've met along the way who have been so glad to finished that they haven't picked up a needle for months or even years. I can't imagine that; I can't wait to get stuck into my next project, but this time I'll be doing it for me!

Anyway, I'm off out tonight on a double celebration. It's also our wedding anniversary today; 38 years married to wonderful Ray!

Congrats. for both. Don't worry I felt completely bereft after I had finished my degree, I thought I was raring to go initially on all those personal projects I had wanted to do for over five years but somehow I just felt too flat to do anything. now a couple of months down the line I'm off and running again. Good luck withyour next project.

Congratulations! How lovely to hear someone who is as passionate at the end of the long haul as she obviously was at the outset.
